Category Safety Relieve Valve
A direct spring-operated, full lift safety relief valve designed for overpressure protection on boilers, pressure vessels, and industrial pipelines handling steam and other high-temperature process media. Engineered and sized in accordance with API 520, manufactured to API 526, and tested to API 527, ensuring standardized performance and reliable sealing across demanding service conditions. Upon reaching the set pressure, the disc rapidly rises to full open position — not less than 1/4 of the bore diameter — delivering maximum discharge capacity before resealing once normal operating conditions are restored.
- Full lift design for high discharge capacity upon actuation
- Open bonnet construction to reduce spring temperature in high-heat steam applications
- Metal-to-metal seating for reliable shutoff and long service life
- Calibrated spring mechanism for accurate set pressure opening and stable reseating
- Lever-operated manual testing capability when inlet pressure exceeds 75% of set pressure
- Flanged inlet and outlet connections per ASME B16.5
- Wide operating temperature range covering high-temperature steam and gas service
- Sealing performance meets and exceeds API 527 tightness requirements
