A piston-type proportional pressure reducing valve that delivers a fixed, predetermined outlet-to-inlet pressure ratio through a floating piston mechanism — requiring no external adjustment, pilot lines, or sensing equipment. The valve uses the pressure differential generated by the differing cross-sectional areas of the internal piston to reduce both dynamic and static pressure simultaneously, making it ideal for applications where a stable, fixed pressure ratio must be maintained regardless of flow demand or inlet pressure fluctuations.

Standard reduction ratios of 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 3:2, and 5:2 are available, with custom ratios available on request. The simple piston construction — comprising valve body, inlet and outlet glands, floating piston, O-ring, and gasket — minimizes the number of components, simplifying installation, operation, and field maintenance. Available in flanged and threaded end configurations, with body materials in bronze, cast iron, and stainless steel to suit a range of media and service conditions.
